Trouble from the beginning with CS. They kept telling me they needed more info on my credit. I wasn't purchasing on credit. One CS hung up on me. After the 4 or 5 times finally someone helped me. Got the chair and ottoman I ordered only to find some threads on the chair arm had been caught on something. Not super bad but shouldn't be there at all. Husband put it together and I noticed the plaid material doesn't match up and also the back of the chair is slightly lower on the left side compared to the right. We tried adjusting the legs but didn't work.
I wrote a previous review that was already as bad as I thought it could get. I was wrong. Now, they're trying to scam me through my bank account and they charged me for the swing set order I canceled in June. I had to file a dispute with my bank in July to get the money back for that cancellation. I woke up this morning to find out my bank account is now in the hole and the charge simply says "Forced Post Adjustment" with the EXACT amount ($493.51) that I had to dispute them over. I Googled what this means and it clearly states this is how people are scamming others. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They are liars and scammers and are using bank information to bypass authorizations. I am so screwed because of them and so beyond angry. I now have no money to buy groceries for my family or pay my bills. Thank goodness, my bank is amazing and will figure it out! These people need to be stopped!

I love the products, good quality too but payment is ridiculous, every single time I try and make a payment on line it won't go through, then I gotta call so I get the automated crap which never goes through so each time i get charged by some live rip off customer service person and I really can't wait to get out of this and find a legitimate company! Your website sucks! You want a 2 dollar charge every time..

Find out they charged the "country Door" credit card for the same item, TWICE they have reported to my credit a late payment that was NEVER late, when you call and talk to a "supervisor" they are very rude and don't do anything to resolve the issue! Would not EVER recommend buying anything or dealing with this company! Not to mention a lot of their stuff is poor poor quality at ridiculous price!
They send me mail all the time. I have $900 credit.So I ordered $250. They never got back to me. When I went to the web site. They hadn't shipped the items yet... No response what so ever. I don't know if this is a real business. I canceled my order... What a waste of my time. There is no one there. I think this site should be removed from the web. It hurtful.to advertise for nothing.
THEY OPEN AN ACCOUNT FOR YOU AND YOU THINK IT'S YOUR ACTUAL ACCOUNT. EACH ORDER YOU PLACE THOUGH, GETS A NEW ACCOUNT... SO THAT YOU END UP HAVING TO PAY EACH ACCOUNT... NOT THE MAIN ACCOUNT THEY OPEN. THEY DON'T TELL YOU THIS AND YOU DON'T THIS UNTIL YOU FIND YOU HAVE BEEN MAKING ON TIME PAYMENTS TO YOUR ACCOUNT... BUT IN REALITY YOU HAVE NOT MADE PAYMENT TO EVERY ACCOUNT... SO 3 ORDERS... 3 DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS... ALL DIFFERENT ACCOUNT NUMBERS... AND THEN WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW THIS... THEY ARE CHARGING FEES OF 15.00 TO THE DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT! RACKS UP GOOD MONEY FOR THEM... AND THEY FRAUD YOU BY NOT TELLING YOU ANY OF THIS WHEN YOU OPEN SAID ACCOUNT... OH AND WHEN YOU GET CREDIT LIMIT SET... NO... IT DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERY ACCOUNT THEY OPEN...! BEWARE OF THIS! IS FRAUD.
I ordered two items on the on 14 November. According to my order status, one was shipped on the 16 Nov and the other on 18 Nov... On tracking, it say it was shipped to Pitney Bowes in Monroe Township NJ and they received them on 24 Nov. From there it says that one item departed the Pitney Bowes Facility on the 27 Nov and the other on 30 Nov ( this makes no sense since both arrived there on the same day, but took 3 days longer to ship out one). It is now the evening of 8 Dec and I still haven't gotten the items. I I ordered them early since they are presents to be given on the 12 Dec, but looks like that will not be if things keep going as they are...
This is a company out of Wisconsin that is directly related to the Swiss Colony Online stores. I have had an impossible time with being harassed by their customer service reps. Just trying to pay my bill is a Nightmare. Also, making address changes to my online account has been impossible.
I have paid CD on time now for about 3 years or so. The problem is I changed my Credit card and they can't handle a simple change. It is going on 2 full months where they tell me they will charge the new card and they do not. Then after numerous calls to them where they put me on impossibly long holds-multiple people pick up the line and say, "I'm only in customer service, I can't even see your account-I have to transfer you to the Billing dept." They keep pressuring me to "place an order".
Then other people laugh and say "tell me what you want to say to the billing dept. And I will call them."-so they refuse to transfer me to the billing dept. At one point a very rude sarcastic woman who sounded exactly like a former neighbor that harassed me for years told me, "she won't even talk to you!"---this company is Rude. They are Unprofessional. They say they will update my payment information and they do not. My next stop will be BBB. A company should allow me to pay my bill on time.

Since I posted this TrustPilot Review things have gotten so much better from Country Door. They did finally update my card and payments plus calls to them are going smoothly. I am really Thankful because CD is an important account I always stay current on. Thank You very much Country Door :)
I ordered a quilt and shams from the catalog... I mailed it in with my check... for $177.00. I had to return the item because it was such poor quality... I got an email from Country door telling me they received the item back... Then I got another email telling me that I would receive a refund check... I called today to find out when I would get that check... They told me it would take up to 15 days after the 15th of Nov... I wanted to complain... so I talked with someone else higher up and she told me that the company issues refunds checks once a month and that it could take up to 60 days to receive my check...! I am outraged... Why if the check had been written on the 15th of Nov... would it take up to 60 days more to receive the check? This is ridiculous... They are greedy and just want to hold onto my money... no other company does this and takes that long? I really need that money now... will not ever shop with country door again... And. I never got, "Gee, I'm sorry." THERE IS NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE... IT IS GONE... UPSET...
DON'T BUY ANYTHING ON CREDIT WITH THESE PEOPLE! EVEN IF YOU PAY IT OFF 100% THEY WILL CONTINUE TO SEND YOU IMAGINARY LATE FEES EVERY MONTH AMEND IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THEM THEY WILL TELL YOU IF YOU PAY THE LATE FEE PLUS $2.00 THEY WILL MAKE IT GO AWAY! B. S.! YOU WILL GET ANOTHER BILL A FEW MONTHS LATER WITH MORE LATE FEES UPON LATE FEES ON THE ORIGINAL LATE FEES! FORTUNATELY, I HAVE AN 750 CREDIT SCORE AND THIS WON'T HURT ME, BUT THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT HONEST.
I found something I wanted to order and the price was pretty good. I started to check out and shipping was so high I got out! Some of their items are on Amazon where shipping is free. I've never seen free shipping offered either... too bad.
WAS TOTALLY satisfied with lady in customer service on 10/27th, very helpful & found solution for me. The issue was NOT with country door but Pa. Postal system tracking. She went beyond what she needed to do, and was able to find their package to me, and give me updated info. In buying from Country door for 20 years, only once was I dissatisfied with quality of a bird house. ( I fixed loose board and used it and still hanging. Not worth the shipping to return when I could fix it easily). I do think like many other companies, Bt quality has changed and to much comes from China. But so far, no issues with what I have ordered. Winter, Holiday decor on its way. So hope I do not have to change my review. But for customer service, could not have asked for nicer lady this past week. The package still has not arrived, but not country doors fault. Just Pa postal hub issue in Harrisburg, Pa.
Never again. Cheap stuff from China and ridiculous shipping charges. Awful customer service. Shame on you.
You get computers, not people when you call for questions or even to place an order. If you try to email a question; system is down.
